Women are at the heart of Cameroun’s economy. As merchants, farmers, processors, and service providers, they drive local markets and sustainably improve household living standards. Yet, limited access to formal financial services continues to hinder many women-led initiatives.

For over a decade, Advans Cameroun has been addressing this challenge by offering tailored financial solutions that enable women entrepreneurs to structure, grow, and sustain their businesses.

Secure and tailored access to financial services

To meet its customers needs, Advans Cameroun provides 24/7 an online banking service, as well as a customer relationship center available by dialing 8097. As of December 31, 2025, women, who represent 37% of Advans Cameroun’s portfolio and hold approximately 9.1 billion CFA francs in deposits (31% of total savings), are increasingly adopting the digital services made available to them.

These figures reflect both the trust women entrepreneurs place in Advans Cameroun and the strong alignment of its products with their needs.

    Loans designed to accelerate growth

Access to financing remains a key driver in transforming small activities into thriving businesses. In 2025, Advans Cameroun supported more than 5,000 economic activities, including 1,385 women-led businesses, for a total amount of 5.4 billion CFA francs, representing a 28% increase compared to 2024.

Key point : More than one-quarter of these women entrepreneurs secured their first financing from a financial institution, highlighting Advans Cameroun’s role as a key enabler of financial inclusion.

A tangible economic and social impact

Supporting women’s entrepreneurship means investing in the future of our economy. By facilitating women’s access to financing and savings, we are not only supporting businesses—we are empowering families, creating jobs, and contributing to a more inclusive and resilient economy.

Overall, Advans Cameroun’s support directly contributes to improving the economic well-being of more than 9,000 families across the country.

Impact measured and validated by Clients

The impact of Advans Cameroun’s support is further confirmed by an independent study conducted by 60 Decibels.

    • 51% of clients reported increased income
    • 23% were able to hire new employees
