About us - Advans Cameroun

Our History

Founded in May 2006, Advans Cameroun is a microfinance institution committed to providing tailored financial services to meet the specific needs of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) across the Cameroonian territory.

In 2017, the institution celebrated a decade of operations dedicated to advancing financial inclusion. To commemorate this milestone, a series of initiatives were launched to express appreciation to our clients and employees. These included community service efforts such as cleaning the Dakar neighborhood in Douala, celebratory gatherings in branches with anniversary cakes, and the presentation of honorary awards to twelve employees, attended by local authorities, media representatives, and internal teams.

Today, Advans Cameroon relies on a robust network of 14 branches and nearly 50 merchant partners (Advans Points), enabling closer proximity to communities and facilitating the daily financial transactions of our customers.

Board of Directors

Advans Cameroun is governed by an independent Board of Directors made up of members with solid experience in the financial sector and a strong expertise in financial inclusion. The Board is responsible for defining the company’s overall strategy and direction, while also ensuring its effective implementation.
